The God response.

So when I cry out to God - He answers. If there is one gift that God has given me that I value above all else it is being able to hear God so clearly. Read on, hopefully it'll bless you as it has me and several others so far...

"It is in the make-up of every single human being; the desire to be close. Permanently close. When we came out of the womb, we cried because we were seperated. When our parents put us down in the cot, we cried because we were seperated. When a child is lost in a supermarket, they cry because they are seperated. Why is it that our parents always sent us to our rooms as discipline? Because it seperated us. Every single person is crying out for closeness. For intimacy.

Seperation hurts.

But the truth is that no human will be or can be there all the time. It's just not possible. At some point they have to leave - be it parent, partner, son or daughter; if our hope is based entirely in the physical beings around us at some point we will be left disappointed and alone.

But that is the very power of God. Only the Unseen can be always with us. When everything and everyone else passes away, God remains.

So how do we make that a reality in our lives?

'I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven....the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these'

We desire a Father who is tangible but we need a Father who is always with us. Only God can reach out to us wherever and whenever we need Him. If God was a physical being He would have to put us down at some point. Why do you think Jesus left earth so soon? Because He understood that as one man He could reach only those in His physical surroundings. But the Spirit of Christ; the very presence of God can be with each of us and in all of us 'to the very end of the age'. All we need to do is make the time to cry out for it, as a child would, from the very core of our being".
