Last night in Sydney we saw the return of the monster thunderstorms that have been making an almost weekly visit over the last month. This latest one lasted for a good couple of hours and had some of the hugest bolts of lightning I have ever seen (on a par with the crazy lightning I saw in India a couple of years ago)! There were several immense cracks of thunder but the majority were the house shaking rumbles which were intensified by the fact that the storm was sitting right above us for a good while! Glory!
On another note, I hate sickness. I've had a bit of a head cold this weekend most likely caused by a shortage of sleep at the end of last week. It's not stopped me from doing stuff but having a runny and/or blocked nose is a bit of an inconvenience, especially when hosting at a busy church service! But fear not, I'm trying to rest up today so combined with a bit of Holy Spirit-filled-miracle-working-power, I should be as fit as a fiddle again in a couple of days...
Special thanks must also go out to God again for his fantastic provision. One of my great housemates today blessed me with a stack of great clothes which were surplus to his needs. Some of the stuff hasn't even been worn and still has the tags to prove it! It is so good to be in the favour of God...
